stages of the water billing process. The Water Billing Clerk on any given day may be

responsible for resolving customer complaints, receiving payments, resolving disputes over

Billing Clerk position reports to the Administrative Finance Coordinator and prepares and

issues water and sewer service bills, maintains computerized billing records, and provides

information to customers. This position collects information from customers establishing or

discontinuing service and processes applications for service, coordinates the scheduling of

meter readers and repair persons to activate or terminate service. The successful applicant will

have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of

experience working in an office environment. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

required. Excellent communication, writing, math, and customer service skills required. The

minimum salary for the position is $39,150. The position is a Union position and eligible for
