When I heard Joan was coming out with a new book, I knew I had to interview the legend in person. The New

York Times said her book had, “More punch lines per paragraph than any book I’ve read in years.” It’s THAT

good! No woman has paved her own way in comedy the way Joan has. Every chapter in the new book is a

new diary entry of the day, focusing on anything and everything that is happening in her personal life. From

hilarious dinner dates with friends, to talking about celebs like Tyra Banks — nothing is off limits.

I can’t even express how impressed I was with Joan, and it solidified my reason why I love her so much. Not

only is she one of the funniest people alive, she is so kind and down to earth. During our chat, we spoke

about so much, from serious topics, like her work with God’s Love We Deliver, (https://www.glwd.org/)to her

next book (you’ll never guess what it’s about). After the interview was complete, she took time to talk to me
