Who Am I?My name is Jacob Dykstra. I am a Boy Scout in Troop 57 working on my Eagle Scout rank. I am a resident ofPoplar Grove and attend Belvidere Central Middle School.
My Eagle Scout Service ProjectI plan to build a gazebo at the Veterans Memorial Park in Poplar Grove next to the bike path. The gazebo will helpto beautify downtown and provide a sheltered place for people to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
I am trying to raise $2,500. The funds will be used to cover material costs. Any additional money raised will beused for enhancing the gazebo.
