What are the challenges?

Variation in approaches – some embed from day 1 and some do end of programme activity for job hunting

Technology for employability isn’t allied with digital capability development

Technology and social media are under exploited

Not enough work with employers to identify and develop technology experience and skills

Addressing barriers

Embed technology for employment into policy, plans and processes

Provide ongoing staff development opportunities

Put in place infrastructure, tools and resources to support

Improve communications and collaboration to drive change
