Sales  Mastery  Your   business   has   an   amazing   product   and   an  impressive   service.   You   know   you’re   better   than   all  your   competitors   and   your   existing   customers   love  you!      

However,   many   seemingly   amazing   companies   have  failed   to   create   the   momentum   of   sales   needed   to  support  or  build  the  business.  14  of  Virgin’s  companies  have   folded,   not   because   the   products  weren’t   great,  but   because   they  didn’t   sell   enough  products   to   keep  afloat!   So   we   know,   businesses   rise   or   fall,   based   on  sales!      

Consider  a  McDonald’s  hamburger  and  compare  it  to  a  Burger   King   hamburger.   Most   would   say   BK   make   a  better  quality  hamburger,  yet  MD’s  sell  more  of  them!  A  great  product  that  suits  the  customer’s  needs  is  vital.  The  ability  to  create  loyal  customers  that  keep  coming  back  to  buy  the  product  is  equally  important!    

So  how  do  we  do  this?  Well,  traditional  sales  methods  and   cold   calling   are   a   thing   of   the   past.  Most   people  today   simply   wont   tolerate   being     “sold   to”   by   slick  salespeople!   The   old   sales   training   methods   need  updating   to   match   today’s   technology   and   the  changing  values  of  our  modern  society  and  lifestyles!  

For   example,   consumers   today   have   instant   access   to   price  and  product  comparisons,  reviews  and  they  can  choose  from  any   number   of   companies   selling   similar   products   they   find  online.   With   social   networking,   they   can   also   tell   all   their  friends   about   their   experiences   or   ask   them   for  recommendations  with  the  click  of  a  button.      

That   means,   the   first   things   you’ve   got   to   do   is   help   them  work  out  why   they  would  want   to  buy   something   from  you,  when  they  have  so  much  choice?      

Then   you’ll   need   to   answer   the   other   two   important  questions…  

-­‐ Why  buy  your  particular  product?    -­‐ Why  buy  it  today?      

 

You   then  need   to   know  how   to   transform   them   into   a   loyal  friend   who  wants   to   return   for   other   products   and   services  you  offer  and  send  you  referrals  for  years  to  come.

-­‐ Be  able  to  create  new  customers  with  no  resources  and  show  them  you’re  a  trustworthy  and  helpful  friend.
