You can set out things that we find in the sky like birds, airplanes, or make a few clouds.

Give each child a cloud to glue cotton balls onto. After they glue these, give them the Jesus figure to color. When finished, you will punch a hole in the top of the cloud, and at the top of the Jesus tem-plate, then loop yarn though the holes. This makes Jesus disappear behind the clouds when you pull the yarn through. As a class, review the lesson using your clouds.

BIBLE TIMEAfter Jesus went back to heaven, the disciples waited for a special helper Jesus would send to them. One day, while the disciples were in a house, a strong wind blew through the room and something that looked like little fires rested on the top of their heads! This was the Holy Spirit, the special helper they were waiting for. The disciples were able to speak in different languages, and perform miracles like Jesus because of the helper. They were very thankful Jesus gave them this gift to tell others about him.

Craft Time Retell:When Jesus went back to heaven, he told the disciples they would soon be visited by the Holy Spirit which would be their special helper. They were all in a room, and a big wind came rushing in and tiny fires rested upon their heads! This was the gift of the Holy Spirit! LESSON 13 (WEDNESDAY):

GOD SENDS THE HOLY SPIRIT

TODDLER TIP:This is your last week. It would be a good idea to bring in the new teacher to introduce to the children and perhaps read them a story.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Acts 2:1-13

CRAFT CORNER

Arrival Activity:

You can set out things that we find in the sky like birds, airplanes, or make a few clouds.

Give each child a cloud to glue cotton balls onto. After they glue these, give them the Jesus figure to color. When finished, you will punch a hole in the top of the cloud, and at the top of the Jesus template, then loop yarn though the holes. This makes Jesus disappear behind the clouds when you pull the yarn through. As a class, review the lesson using your clouds.
