Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS)

were so appreciative of the fact that

the UAW opened their doors to them

and what made this even better is the

fact that they needed an area for the

ambassadors to work on walking

backwards while talking during tours at

their given schools. Obviously this was

done with SAFETY at the forefront.

admiration and infatuation with the

amazing products that Ford Motor

Company produce is NOT just about

vehicles but ALSO how the United Auto

Workers are all about building the

community as well as world class

products.

The day was great for our community on the fact that the

ambassadors for The Academies of Louisville are learning

that Unions are for workers and working families. We do not

just build great vehicles but great communities as well. The

UAW provided T-Shirts, Popcorn, school supplies along with

the hospitality. The ability to understand that we are

involved in making a difference in our community has

been relayed to the ambassadors for our future and our

recruitment for our future.
