Pattern Instructions for Part 2: Borders – Right, Upper, Left Edges and Lower Zigzag Edge BorderWhen the body of the stole is done, you should have ended on an ODD NUMBERED ROW = FULL DC ROW, and the garment's right side is facing you. After completing the body of the stole with right side facing, continue crocheting on the right-side edge, top neck edge and left side edge: working the 4 sc in the ch-2/1dc spaces across until reaching the beginning of the lower triangle/zigzag border.
At the beginning of the lower triangle/zigzag border, sc in next three sts, *ch 6, dc3tog in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sl st back into same 4th ch, ch 3, 1 sc in next 3 sts [making 2 sc in ch-2 sps]. * Repeat from * to * up to the end. Continuing up the right-side edge, top neck edge and left side edge, work *4 sc, 1 picot *, sc in last 4 st, sl st to first st of the border on zig zag side. You may want to BLOCK the stole at this point so that it is ready when you start attaching the jeans fabric flowers to the garment. Blocking is optional.
