BiographyBiography Javier Vallhonrat Was born in 1953 in Madrid

His background is Spanish

Javier Vallhonrat studied Painting at the Fine Arts of the University of Madrid in the early 70¶s

He graduated in 1972

He went on to work as a photographer¶s assistant until the early 80

Beginning in 1982, Vallhonrat became a regular contributor to British,French and Italian Vogue and The New York Times, among many others. In1984, he began to work for several key fashion designers

In 1992 he broadened his interest in photography and began creatingadvertising films while on the side teaching photography at the CuencaSchool of Fine Arts (1997)

Today, while continuing his contribution of photos for French Vogue,Italian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Mixte, Big, among others, Javier alsoteaches creative photography in various universities in Spain. Javier Vallhonrat resides in Madrid; his personal work can be regularly seen in

expositions all over the world. Vallhonrat has won numerous prizes for his work, including the Silver 

Award from T he New York T imes Magazine and the seventy-sixth annualAmerican Art Director¶s Club Awards.
