These buyers are important to the housing recovery because College Graduates are faced with limited employment opportunities & student debt while Baby Boomers are aging. Here are some facts from their sruvey:
O 79% of those who lost their homes are interested in buying againO 41% have higher incomes than when they purchased their last
homeO 63% report that their other debt obligations are lower (30% said
“significantly” lower)O 46% report the desire to purchase a home in a lower price range
& 29% wish to purchase in a same price range of their previous home.
O 50% stated they plan to make a down payment of at least 10% or more
