7. What holds a congregation together? Good preaching? A great Worship Band? Being loved and cared for? A continual sense of the presence and blessing of God? A clearly stated vision? Opportunities to serve? In my experience, none of the above. Only the individual choice of a believer to stay, grow where theyre planted, be obedient to Gods voice, have a servant-heart, be open to correction and not be easily offended these are the things that hold people together. and they are increasingly rare commodities.
