JANUARY 2019
A Message from Grace:
Happy New Year! As we look ahead to 2019, we wish you nothing but health, happiness and humor.
Between our Wreath Festival and Holiday Parties, this past month was busy and fun-filled. With all the festivities, lots of help was needed and the demand was certainly met. We thank all of you who came to decorate, entertain, work at or participate in our many holiday events. You filled the building with genuine holiday spirit.
Our winter calendar is quite full. In addition to all of our classes, there will be a fun “Game Show” rendition of our monthly Tea, two informational seminars, a trip and more this month.
None of our classes and events would be possible without your support. Many thanks to all who donated to Founders Hall in 2018. I hope that we can count on your support again this year. Cheers to an exceptional 2019!

The spirit of the season shone bright last month. Decorators, wreath and boxwood tree designers, performers, kitchen
volunteers and everyone else who lent a helpful hand, we so appreciate your time and talents.
You, too, can be a volunteer! We always need help, especially with mailings and teas. Currently, we have an extra need for talented bakers. If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please contact our events and volunteer manager, Kimberly Anderson, to hear about all the volunteer opportunities at Founders Hall.
“Many Hands Make Light Work.” - John Heywood
Founders Hall, a 501(c)3 public charity incorporated under the name Founders Hall Foundation, Inc., was established by the Couri and Goldstone families. The Foundation has an agreement with the town of Ridgefield to lease the land and run Founders Hall through 2022, with the option for future extensions. With continued support from generous people like you, the Foundation will run Founders Hall for generations to come.
JOINING GENERATIONS
VALUED VOLUNTEERS & CALLING ALL BAKERS
The holidays are a time to come together and that was the case at Founders Hall. We happily welcomed youth singers, dancers and gingerbread decorators to join us in celebrating the season.
Boxwood tree designer volunteers were hard at work prepping for the Wreath Festival.
Youth singers from Ridgefield Montessori School serenaded our members with a variety of Christmas and Hanukkah songs.
A local Girl Scout Troop participated in our first Gingerbread House Decorating Contest.
Dancers from The Ridgefield School of Dance performed portions of The Nutcracker at our
Wreath Festival Opening Party. The Ridgefield School of Dance dazzled members with various performances at our
Nutcracker Tea.
