...Equipping students to impact their generationMy time at Cascade Christian School was a part of my life that I would not trade for the world. It was a time in my life that I am more and more thankful for as each year passes by. The community that is formed by a small group of like-minded individuals-the teachers, parents, and students- is a community that is absolutely unique and I have been hard pressed to nd it elsewhere. It
cultivates growth and encourages my faith in a way that I am only beginning to truly appreciate. It wasn’t just school, it was a place I could really call home, a place where I could nd myself. It was a safe place to grow as my classmates and I went through “ nding ourselves” as individuals, and nding our identity in Christ. It was just as much an education in the classroom as it was an education in relationships, in personal growth, and spiritual health which is exactly what the body of Christ should be. To truly nd that manifest in a group of people is a rare thing, and the importance of taking hold of such an opportunity, in my opinion and based on my experience, is something that cannot be overstated.

“During my time atCascade, I took for granted the foundation being set beneath me. Years later,I appreciate the knowledge and understanding gained from the caring, involved staff and the Biblical teaching.”

A 54-year-old Chilliwack woman found unresponsive on railway tracks near the Broadway Street crossing Tuesday has died.
Chilliwack RCMP say there is nothing suspicious about the inci-dent, however they are continuing their investigation.
The woman was found on the tracks by a couple who were walking along Broadway Street when they saw what appeared to be someone lying on the tracks.
“It appeared the lady fell on the
tracks and hit her head,” the couple, who asked their names not be pub-lished, said, “but she was still warm and breathing when we found her.”
Police arrived within minutes of being called and began CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived. The woman was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Chilliwack RCMP Const. Tracy Wolbeck said no foul play is suspect-ed. No further details were immedi-ately available.

For the first time in school history, GW Graham’s senior girls basketball team has cracked the top 10 in the provincial high school AA rankings.
The Grizzly girls are ninth on the latest list, released Monday, sandwiched between No. 10 Archbishop Carney (Port Coquitlam) and No. 8 Southridge (Surrey).
GWG’s latest outing justified the optimistic out-look.
The Grizzlies bombed Abbotsford Collegiate 63-43.
Kaitlyn McDonald led GWG in scoring with 41 points, including nine three pointers.
GWG’s league record sits at 2-1, good for second place in the Fraser Valley East standings.

No further details were immedi-ately available.

...Equipping students to impact their generationMy time at Cascade Christian School was a part of my life that I would not trade for the world.
