BLUE HARLEMBlue Harlem have been widely regarded as one of the top swing/jump-blues bands on the London scene for over 15 years. Their last performance sold out at the club. They enjoy an international reputation - 2007 found them launching the 4th International Film Festival of Dubai and in 2008, they were personally invited by Baz Luhrmann to perform for the launch of his 1940’s blockbuster movie ‘Australia’. They have been invited on three separate occasions to perform at Highgrove House charity balls for the Prince’s Trust. £15

Ika a singer songwriter from the heart of the midlands Birmingham, born into a gospel family but crediting influence from soul, house, hip hop, jazz funk, rock, pop and reggae. The journey started with hip-hop trio RME, which

Vanessa Haynes is a London-based singer/piano player who has been performing worldwide over 15 years. She became one of the lead singers of the internationally acclaimed UK jazz/funk band Incognito in late 2008. The band boasts 17 Studio Albums and 2 Top 20 Hits (Always

There 1990), (Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing 1992) and after 35 years is still touring today. In early 2008 Vanessa became a backing vocalist to Van Morrison, performing around the world with him. In 2012 she joined Chaka Khan on backing vocals for her UK/Europe Tour. She has worked and recorded with other notable artists including Anastacia, Mario Biondi, Goldie, Chaka Khan, LuLu, Billy Ocean, Dave Stewart and Leon Ware and more. £30

REBECCA DOWNES ‘UNPLUGGED AND IN CONVERSATION’Birmingham-based Blues/Rock artist Rebecca Downes was voted Female Vocalist and Emerging Artist of the Year at the British Blues Awards 2016 and Female Blues Vocalist of the Year in the FORM UK Blues Awards 2018. This gig will be a real treat for existing and new fans as Rebecca and co-songwriter Steve Birkett, accompanied by guitarist Tara Simms, deliver an intimate show that will be a combination of new ‘unplugged’ takes on several of their original numbers from her new album which is getting rave reviews ‘More Sinner than Saint’, the EP ‘Real Life’ and the albums ‘Back To The Start’ and ‘Believe’, mixed in with conversation about the music, their inspiration, the song-writing process and the challenges of creating and performing original material. £15

The Fontanas live show serves up high energy tunes from funky Brazilian soul to upbeat afro-Latin. The Fontanas have been busy in the studio working

JAMES & BLACK (USA)Bruce James and Bella Black joined musical forces in Austin, Texas in 2011 and have been spreading the word of “Guerrilla Soul” ever since. The roots of their music spring from the tradition of the Southern Soul from Texas, New Orleans and Memphis, yet they are not a throwback. They have supported Gregory Porter, Fatoumata Diawara, Candy Dulfer and played alongside Bobby Rush, Lee Fields and fellow Texans, ZZ Top. Touring and performing at major UK Festivals throughout 2019, James & Black debut at PizzaExpress Live, Holborn to share the stories in their songs. £15

SAMANTHA-JAYNESamantha-Jayne is a self-taught saxophonist from South Staffordshire. A player of the soprano, alto and tenor saxophones. After two years of teaching herself to play by ear at the age of 17, she toured the UK, Germany and Miami with more established artists and gospel bands. This historic music venue was reopened in 2009 and has already established itself as one of London’s premier venues for jazz and cabaret. In its new incarnation, The Pheasantry has played host to some of the finest musicians and singers in the UK, including Beverly Craven, Fascinating Aida, Julia Fordham, Lee Mead, Clare Teal and Ian Shaw.
