Mathematics In mathematics this year I have learnt lots and lots of things like division,

multiplication, addition, subtraction, BODMAS, patterns and tables.

This is when we learnt

volume and capacity.

Communication In term 1 our topic was communication. It was very fun!

You can

communicate with

tin cans and a

peace of string. And walkie

talkies!!!

The Way Things Work

In term 2 our topic was “The way things work”. We got to make

heaps of things with screws, pulleys, wheels and axles, levers,

gears, wedges and inclined planes.

Weather

In term 4 we learnt about the weather like

rain, snow and sunny.

In weather we made anemometers, posters

and rain gages.

Camp Kangaroobie Build a crane.

Build a billy cart Media Road show

Media Road Show

In term 1 we

had a media

road show

we got to

make a radio recording, a movie and animations.

Build a billy cart

In term 2 we got to do a build a billy cart incursion. We

got to design a billy cart, make a billy cart, build anything

we want and we got to drive a billy cart.

Build a crane In Term 2 we got to build a crane. We got to cut the wood, nail the

wood and it was really fun!!!

Camp Kangaroobie In Term 3 we went to camp Kangaroobie. We did lots of activities!
