Cleanse (katharizo)- to pronounce clean in a levitical sense your hands- as instruments representing our deeds, they need cleansing by removing them from every evil deed that the world’s contaminating pleasures has to offer, Purify (hagnizo)- to make pure ceremonially your hearts- calling for inner purification; the removal of all that disqualifies one for acceptable worship, double minded (dipsuchos) [two souled]- divided in interest (I Pet 2:9)
