Voivodship Labour Office in Gdańsk:

is an organisational unit of the voivodship self-government, active in the Pomeranian Voivodship.

Main tasks of Voivodship Labour Office in Gdańsk- in accordance with the act about promotion the employment and labour market institutions from 20th of April 2004 (1)

1. defining and co-ordinating of the regional policy of the labour market and human resources development with reference to the labour market national policy, by the preparation and implementation of the regional plan of employment development;

2. elaborating the labour market analyses and researches of the demand for work, including the monitoring of surplus and shortage professions;

3. co-operating with the Voivodship Employment Council in defining and implementing the regional policy of the labour market and human resources development;

Main tasks of Voivodship Labour Office in Gdańsk- in accordance with act about promotion the employment and labour market institutions from 20th of April 2004 (2)

1. programming and carrying out the tasks co-financed

by the European Social Fund.

2. implementing the tasks stemming from the right of free movement of workers between countries, especially in the field of participation in the EURES system.

3. implementing the tasks stemming from international agreements with foreign partners in the field of delegating the Polish citizens to work abroad.
