THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
The courses catalogue is divided into six major categories, each one representing a core theme of EXPO Milano 2015, providing participants with a holistic experience of the most innovative features in the agri-food sector
Courses will explain the best practices addressed to ensure that the handling, preparation and storage of food is done in the best possible way to prevent food poisoning and food spoilage hazards. Other important topics will be: food labeling, food law, food hygiene and the usage of food additives
The concept of Food Security is strictly related to the availability of food in a defined area. Course topics will reflect the four pillars stated by the WHO (World Health Organization) and FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization): 1) Food availability; 2) Food access; 3) Food utilization; 4) Food stability
CEEP will cover all aspects of sustainability in food and agriculture, with courses related to innovations in bioenergy, strategies to reduce food waste and losses and good sustainable practices in the most important supply chains
CEEP will provide the best courses for giving insights and solutions on the main issues related to the management of the agri-food system: from the geographic trademarks (PDO, PGI) done to exalt and protect the territory through food and agriculture, and the development of an efficient marketing strategy to promote the products at home and abroad, to the collaboration strategies between farmers and retailers and the most effective and successful forms of cooperation in agribusiness
This section of the courses catalogue is dedicated to technical innovations occurring in zootechnics, animal husbandry and livestock management, with special consideration for sustainability. Livestock breeding methods and genetics and organic production will also be covered , adapted to the specific needs of the different kinds of husbandry (cattle, swine, poultry)
Innovation - in agricultural production and farming - is fundamental in order to increase crop productivity through reduction of cost, time and environmental pollution, to reduce waste and efficiently manage resource use. CEEP courses in this section will deal with precision farming in herbaceous and arboreal crops, as well as innovative irrigation and organic farm management systems

Tradition and innovation will also merge during the lectures, with three evocative locations awaiting participants: Palazzo Trecchi, situated in the heart of Cremona, is a prestigious location for international congresses; Santa Chiara, a historical congress center, is in the ancient town of Casalmaggiore; and Sant’Agostino, a museum and cultural center located in the historical center of Crema.
