Computer & Networking TechnologyThe Computer and Network Technician certification program helps our graduates begin or advance their careers by showing employers that they have gained exposure to implementing, managing and troubleshooting network and security issues. INTERMEDIATE PROGRAMComputer Information
For those with prior IT experience, the Computer Information Specialist certification program shows employers that our graduates have the skills to build and repair computers. Then they move in to configuring and managing, troubleshooting and security on networks and operating systems. This program has 2 elective tracks. One focuses on Linux Operating Systems and the second on Cisco Networking.
Elective Track 1 builds keyboarding skills and teaches the basics of VMWare, Cloud computing with Microsoft Office 365 and the Linux operating system that can result in the Linux + Certificate from CompTIA and the LPIC 1 from the Linux Professional Institute.
Elective Track 2 adds additional networking skills with learning how to Interconnect Cisco Networking Devices and Cisco Routing and Switching. These 2 courses can result in the Cisco Certified Entry Level Network Technician (CCENT) and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.
