Top News 1. KBA: Hyperbaric Reception Facilities - KBA Consultancy services working with operators and contractors to meet new industry requirements With the requirements of the IMCA International Code of Practice, OGP Recommended Practice and the new documented guidelines from IMCA:- IMCA D051,52 (and soon to be issued D053) many diving contractors and operators are now mobilising Hyperbaric Reception Facilities (HRF) for their emergency and contingency planning with saturation diving projects. Full consideration is to be given when including a HRF in an emergency preparation. As having such a system in place is costly, so ensuring its availability (both operational and realistically available within suitable travel distance and location) and competently manned when required should be paramount in any emergency planning. KBA as the leading independent diving safety management consultancy service in Asia with global knowledge and expertise has recently been contracted by two major operators to support the risk management and implementation of HRF requirements for their regional and global offshore diving projects. Contact us if you need more information.

Diving System Assurance Training ~ For DOF Subsea, on 24 - 27 Mar 2014 in Perth, Australia KBAT has recently provided the popular 'Diving System Assurance' course for DOF Subsea as an in-house run course located at Perth, Australia. The course also included aspects of the ROV Audit and was attended by DOF personnel from both Diving and ROV departments. The 4 day course included a full day of onsite auditing air and saturation diving system components at the companies' equipment base. The delivery of the course as an 'in-house' training competency development for the companies personnel aims to raise the awareness of the audit requirements and

expectations of the client and meeting industry guidance. Where organisations can carry out robust in-house audits, following a structured audit process the organization will enhance its projects and operations by a cost effective mean. Which is more important experience or qualifications and why?

Both of experience and qualification is important. In real work circumstance we act as we know the basic knowledge of it.
