BS EN ISO14000 Series – Environmental Management ISO14001 is very similar to OHSAS18001, in fact OHSAS18001 was devised by applying HSG65 and ISO14001 together. The forcus of ISO14001 is environmental protection and the policy requires a commitment to prevent pollution and continual improvements in the area of management of environmental impacts. Apart from this focus on environmental impact ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 are almost identical in their requirements. This results in ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 being suitable for integration into a single management system
