WHAT IS ISMO?

WELCOME TO PAKISTAN’S LARGEST

It is a Mathematics test based on multiple choice questions (MCQs).

PakTurk International Schools & Colleges have been successfully organizing the Inter Schools Maths Olympiad (ISMO) for the students of private and state schools across Pakistan since 2005. ISMO has become a national event and is being conducted all over Pakistan in different cities simultaneously. Attractive Cash Prizes along with Shields and Certificates await the qualifying candidates.

MATHS OLYMPIADDear Students,

The role of Mathematics cannot be denied in this age of rapid technological advancements and innovations. However this subject has always been considered as a dry and boring subject for the students.

It has been observed that the presence of Pakistani youth in International Olympiads is negligible. It may be because of lack of confidence or resources on the part of the students. On the other hand, the students who have been participating in these competitions have proven themselves as second to none.

In order to provide our talented students from all walks of life a healthy and fair chance to show their potential and talent, Inter-School Mathematics Olympiad ISMO was initiated in 2005. Since then the number of participants and schools increased exponentially. Now it has become a national event where thousands of students participate and try to prove themselves.

ISMO encourages the talented students to pursue careers in the fields related to Mathematics. In this respect, the participants will have a chance to see his school’s and their own position all over Pakistan.

I invite you to enjoy this great activity of talents and wish all of you great success.

Kamil Ture Director EducationPakTurk ICEF
