ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 27

DIRECTING THE CHAIR OF THE NATIONAL HISTORICAL COMMISSION OF THEPHILIPPINES TO LEAD THE ORGANIZATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OFTf:I~PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 150TH BIRTHANNIVERSARY OF ANDRES BONIFACIO ON 30 NOVEMBER 2013

WHEREAS, 30 November 2013 marks the 150th birth anniversary of AndresBonifacio, founder of Katipunan and leader of the Philippine Revolution forIndependence.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO, Ill, President of the Philippines,by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

SECTIO 1. Lead Agency. The Chair of the National Historical Commission ofthe Philippines (NHCP) is hereby directed to take the lead in the organization andimplementation of the program of activities, beginning with the countdown activities on30 November 2012 until 30 November 2013.

SECTION 2. Inter-agency task force. The NHCP shall convene an inter-agencytask force to plan, coordinate and implement effectively all programs, projects andactivities related to this milestone event.

SECTION 3. Support to NHCP. All departments, agencies, bureaus, offices,national government agencies (NGAs), local government units (LGUs) and government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOGGs) are hereby enjoined to give full support,assistance and cooperation to the Chair of NHCP in the exercise of responsibilitiesunder this AO.

SECTION 4. Funding. The NHCP shall utilize the budget of TEN MILLIONPESOS (P 10,000,000.00) from the FY 2013 NHGP budget allocated for the event.Participating NGAs, LGUs and GOGCs are authorized to use part of their respectivesavings to defray the expenses for the activities commemorating this milestone event.

SECTION 5. Effectivity. This AO shall take effect immediately.

DONE, in the City of Manila, this 2nd day of August in the year of Our Lord,Two Thousand and Twelve.
