Honeywell Safety Products will be exhibiting two of its latest products.

The first is the level 4 cut resistant Perfect Cutting Diamond gloves, which Honeywell says gives workers protection when handling sharp objects in dry and greasy environments but at the same time provides them with excellent dexterity and grip.

The second is the face protection system Turboshield, which, according to the manufacturer, offers enhanced protection through the A-rated visor fitted to all products within the range. Both products have been named as finalists of the BSIF Safety Product Innovation Awards. Winners will be announced at the show.

The British Lung Foundation is a charity that works to help anyone affected by lung disease. Currently,

more than eight million people in the UK are affected by it, ranging from mild asthma to aggressive lung cancer.

The charity will be using its stand to raise awareness among visitors of the fight against lung disease. Visitors will be offered a free lung function test to find out what their lung age and capacity is. A qualified nurse will use a simple handheld spirometry device and in just five minutes, visitors can find out their results.

This is an opportunity to check the health of your lungs and find out more about what the charity can do for individuals and companies.

Denios will be launching the UltraSafe spill pallet, which it says is the first two drum steel spill pallet without weld seams produced by the deep drawing process.

The welding process presents a number of risks, including the possibility that the spill pallet may not remain sealed due to cracks, inclusions or joint failures. These risks should be managed and prevented through testing to ensure compliance with HSE legislation and Environment Pollution Prevention Guideline – PPG 26 regulations.
