• Note: If you have an earlier version of PowerPoint the essential components are the same. (Although, you might find them in a slightly different location)

• PowerPoint is a presentation software program that is part of the Microsoft Office package

• Using PowerPoint, you can create screens that effectively incorporate colorful text, images, graphs, tables and movies

• Print out materials to distribute when you are making a presentation

Animation Animations are used to add a special visual to text or an object

Text Box Use text boxes to place text anywhere on a slide

Templates Templates give the presentation a fully designed, professional appearance
