Part 2: Beating Out the Competition in the Google Rankings  There are two keys to beat out the competition in the Google rankings, in my opinion. The first is finding a good domain name, and the second is building more & better backlinks than your competitors.  Finding a good domain name isn’t so hard. My first choice is the actual product name. If you were Launch Jacking Viral Conversion, for example, you would first try for:  ViralConversion.net or ViralConversion.org  You can always just add a letter onto the end too:  ViralConversionX.com ViralConversionX.net ViralConversionX.org  Another option is to go for the popular related keyword phrases:  ViralConversionReview.com, ViralConversionBonus.com, etc…  For creating backlinks, I am a big fan of automated SEO software. The beauty of automated software is that you don’t have the cost of outsourcers on every launch. You only have your monthly fee, which is a constant. Hands down, the best SEO software is SEnuke X:  http://rob‐jones.com/senukex   Hands down, it blows all of the competition away. If you do decide to use SEnuke X, email me and I will hook you up with my awesome bonus. Some decent, less expensive options include Magic Submitter and Sick Submitter. Also, I’ve made free training videos for all of these: http://rob‐jones.com/magicsubmitter http://rob‐jones.com/sicksubmitter 

Part 3: Creating Your Launch Jacking Site & Your Bonus  For my launch jacking bonus, I offer free training videos on internet marketing related topics. I use Screencast‐O‐Matic to create excellent picture‐in‐picture videos for free. If you buy the $9/year membership, they add on very nice editing features, and they store all your videos for you:  http://screencast‐o‐matic.com  I show a tutorial on how to use it here:  http://rob‐jones.com/quickstart‐money‐making‐guide‐video‐marketing  For my site, I like to use video, but it’s not absolutely necessary. Make sure you create several pages to promote the related keyword phrases for the product.   Make sure that your affiliate links are easy to see. Make sure they have a compelling call to action. This means tell them exactly what to do. (Click here to purchase Viral Conversion). Tell them exactly how to get their bonus. Here’s a Launch Jacking site I did:  http://thenanocontinuity.com  Let me point out a few things. Everything important is “above the fold.” That’s a usability buzz word. (I’m a usability consultant). It means you don’t have to scroll down. Everything you have to scroll to see is “below the fold.” Make sure your affiliate links are obvious. Make sure they are in plain view. Mine are. There’s no confusion. Don’t lose potential buyers, because they didn’t know to click on your affiliate link. Plug those leaks in your page. Make sure the only reason they leave your page is if they decide not to buy. If they decide to buy, they should know exactly what to do. 

Part 4: Creating a Compelling Bonus  I received this email from a subscriber of mine:  “Rob, thanks for the in depth feedback...What do you do about situations in which you do not have an advantage? Buying the product and actually going through it doesn't make sense because the product just came out....I can imagine the best way to make sales is to be genuine, like you mentioned....I have a feeling when I can actually really dig into the emotion and be a matchmaker like Mike says then everything will click...I look forward to the challenge....thanks again. Allen”  Here’s my reply:  Allen, But you always have an advantage if you understand human nature. You know something that a lot of your competitors don't know. You can give people exactly what they are looking for. A lot of people will try to offer bonuses that are sort of what they are looking for (like 100 backlinks or a website built for them), or things that would be nice to have (like an iPad), but you can give them precisely what they are looking for, because you can relate to them, and you know what they are looking for. Mike is absolutely right. Be the matchmaker. If someone is looking to buy a make money online product, you know the exact emotions they are feeling, because you feel them too. That gives you a giant advantage. You can relate to them. What drives you to buy those products? Do you want to travel? Do want to quit your job? Do you want to have financial freedom? Do you want to spend more time with your wife and kids? Do you want to feel more in control of your life? These are all emotional triggers that drive people to buy internet marketing products, and you can tap into every one of those, because you understand the emotions. You have experienced them yourself. If you want to have an advantage in any niche, the key is to fully understand the emotions that drive people in that niche. What are they feeling at that precise moment when they are considering buying the product? What is their problem, and how can you provide a solution? People aren't looking for a bonus. They're looking for a solution to their problems. They're looking to satisfy their emotional needs. They're not looking for a hundred free backlinks. They're looking for financial freedom. They're looking for control in their life. If you can show them exactly how you are going to help them achieve that, then they will be begging you for your bonus. People often ask if they can buy my bonus. Sometimes they will see my launch jacking sites, but even if they aren't that interested in the product I am launch jacking, they will still contact me. Some will actually buy the product they don’t want just to receive my bonus. I've had people tell me that the product they bought was absolute crap, but they are so happy they bought it, because now they are on my list. That tells me I have done a good job of nailing down the precise emotions that they are feeling, and I have helped them to move closer to fulfilling their financial, psychological and emotional needs. That's what you should be trying to achieve. That is how you create an instant advantage over your competition. Rob

Part 5: ADVANCED TECHNIQUE – Video Marketing  If you do it right, your videos can dominate YouTube very quickly. I used this technique on one launch less than a week before the launch(I didn’t have time to rank in Google), and I made $300, just off two short videos. I uploaded my YouTube videos using a service called Content Buzz.   http://rob‐jones.com/contentbuzz   I have also used Traffic Geyser in the past with success, but it is more expensive, and it posts videos to a ton of sites, when really 95% of your traffic will come from YouTube. Content Buzz creates a whole network of links that point back to your video. I used this at the last minute to rank #3 for “Launch Jacking Review” in 2 days, despite TONS of competition. Launch Jacking was easily the most “Launch Jacked” product ever. Go do the search yourself on YouTube and see.  Here is a video I made that shows it in use:  http://rob‐jones.com/video‐marketing‐on‐crack/  Content Buzz is not that well known, it is pretty cheap, and it works really well. It’s also great for any affiliate products you like to promote too. You can post a 30 second clip saying something like, “hey are you looking for a good weight loss product? Go check out this site, it’s pretty cool,” and then post an affiliate link in your video description and you’ll make sales. It works in any niche, because YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world. It’s by far the easiest method I know to start making cash online. If you use Screencast‐O‐Matic like I said before, you can create a dozen videos in an hour or two very easily. 

Part 6: ADVANCED TECHNIQUE ‐ Building a List with your Launch Jacking Sites  One of the most lucrative niches to get into is the internet marketing niche, but it’s very hard to break into without a product. Launch Jacking is an easy way to start building your internet marketing list without having a product. Especially if you can provide training videos to people that provide value, you will develop a strong following. The key is to continue to provide value to your subscribers. Since you’re on my list, you know what I mean. If you aren’t, you can sign up here:  http://rob‐jones.com/limited‐time   Okay, so that’s the why…now let’s talk about the how.  First, you need to set up an autoresponder. I prefer Aweber. I’ve used them for ages, and they’re absolutely reliable. I think they give you your first month for $1:  http://rob‐jones.com/aweber   Now, create an autoresponder campaign.   I now make more money off my list (created by Launch Jacking) than I do off all my Launch Jacking sites combined. I’m talking thousands of dollars. The money is in the list.  Set up your first email or two in your autoresponder sequence to deliver links to your bonus videos. Create an optin page on your site that is password protected. When people buy the product and email you for the bonus, send them the link and password. If your videos are compelling enough, you will create an avid fan who will buy the products you recommend. This is absolutely gold.

Part 7: ADVANCED TECHNIQUE – Creating a Launch Jacking Template  This is the exact technique that allowed me to create 10 successful Launch Jacking sites in one evening. This is the exact process I use for every launch jack I do now. It is a little technical, but once you figure it out, you will enormously improve your speed and efficiency at creating Launch Jacking websites.  Before you can begin, you must create your first launch jacking site. Every site after that will essentially be a copy of the first site with a few tweaks.   As you create your articles, here are a few guidelines:  

Write your articles in your spinner software. I use The Best Spinner (http://rob‐jones.com/bestspinner)  

Use variables for key terms, like the product name, your affiliate link, the product creator’s name. This way you can swap them out and reuse the article on your next Launch Jacking site. 

Create a page on your site for each of the common keywords you will be targeting, i.e. viralconversionx.org/review, viralconversionx.org/bonus. These are the common pages you will use on every site. 

Don’t be too product specific. Word your articles in a way that will apply to any product you are Launch Jacking 

Make the spinner articles as unique as possible. The Best Spinner will tell you how unique it is. If you are diligent about this, you can create one article, and use it on every page of every Launch Jacking site you do. I’ve only ever written one article, and never again for a launch jacking site. 

 Okay, once you have your spinner articles ready and your first Launch Jacking site up, you are ready to create your template. Here are the basic steps:  

Basic Steps to Creating Your Launch Jacking Template(My videos will explain this more clearly):  

1. Go into your Cpanel and find your PHPmyadmin link. Click on it and find the database for your Launch Jacking site. Export it to an SQL file. 

2. Go back into your Cpanel and click on File Manager. Find the root folder of your website’s files. Select the folder in the left folder file tree. You will see the contents of the folder in the main frame. Click the Select All box at the top of that frame. Then click the Compress icon in the top navigation links. A zip file will be created. 

3. You now have the two files you need. Go register your new Launch Jacking domain. 

4. Go into Cpanel for your new domain. Create a database and a user. Copy down the info. Import the SQL file into the new database. 

5. Upload the zip file into the root folder of your new domain. Go into File Manager to your root folder, select the zip file in the main window and click the Extract icon at the top of the page. 

6. You are almost done. Select the wp‐config.php file and click the Code Editor icon at the top of the main window. Replace the database, database user, and database user password with the info you copied down in Step 4 above. 

7. There should be a line of code that looks something like this:  /** The Database Collate type. Don't change this if in doubt. */ define('DB_COLLATE', '');  Below that paste this code with your domain name in the quotes:  define('WP_HOME','http://viralconversionx.com'); define('WP_SITEURL','http://viralconversionx.com'); 

 

8. Your site is now set up. You can login with the same username and password. Go login and go to your Wordpress admin panel to change a few things. As you figure out what you need to change, write it down, so you have a process you can follow next time. 

9. Here’s a few things you might have to add to your checklist: a. Change your site title in the main settings page b. Update your permalinks. This might mean just saving them 

again without changing anything. c. Update your sidebar with your affiliate link and contact 

email. I create a different email for each Launch Jacking site. d. Change/Edit your pages – Go to each page and delete the 

page copy, and replace it with a new spun version(replace the variables to match the current project) 

e. Add any pages necessary. You might want to add a page for the product creator for example: ViralConversionReviews.com/rob‐jones. This page will have a different slug for each Launch Jacking site you do. 

f. Update your custom menu(Click menu in the left nav) g. Add any videos – I have this set as a variable in my spinner 

article. All my videos are hosted on Amazon S3, so all I have to do is change the filename, and the video is updated. You might do the same, or your video might be embedded from YouTube. You might not even use videos on your sites. That’s your choice. 

10. Take your notes and create a repeatable, step by step, written process that you can follow for every Launch Jack you do. After doing a couple of them this way, you will be able to create a Launch Jacking site in 15 minutes or less.  

 If you use a backlinking software package like SEnuke X, you will be able to submit your backlinks in no time, and you will have invested very little time and money into each Launch Jack you do. This will allow you to do dozens of them a month with very little risk. This process works for affiliate sites as well, although you’ll need to edit the content. This process will allow you to multiply your efforts and make MORE $$$.
