How it began and Why ?

PROCOM started in the 20th century, year

1998.

We have been reliving the dream adding

fuel to the flames, making it bigger and

better each passing year.

PROCOM was named

after Programming Competition organized every

year with other Computer Science competitions.

Later scope of PROCOM.net was extended to

include Engineering, Business and Entertainment

domains.

Has received recognition and appreciation from

the offices of the President and the PrimeMinister.

PROCOM.net has always been a success.

ProCom.net is a well known All Pakistan Inter-University

competition , so it always has high expectations from

everyone the Industry and the Participants.

The past seven PROCOM.net efforts has been highly

successful. Since its inception PROCOM has been one of

the most successful events of Pakistan.

The event was reallywell organized and the credit should be given to the

whole team as it was the first of its kind the series(three societies IEEE-

NUCES,NETCOM and PROCOM jointly organized the event and it was great to see

them as a team).The best part I liked (I am not giving this opinion because i was

the judge of (I-Cube) is the creativity and dedication cute innocent little kids

showed in their projects. Though it was reallyhard for me to judge the projects

because for me all of them were really simply great!

Procom.Net 2009 is being held today on 2nd May, Saturday at FAST-NU Maincampus amidst city violence and law & order insecurities. Two Thumbs- up to

Ammar Faheem (www.ammar360.com), President Procom.Net,his entire team

and the faculty of FAST-NU. Well done!!!"

These young bright individuals together have given a very strong message to all

the terrorists and negative elements of the society out there

ProCom.net is a well known All Pakistan Inter-University competition so usually

the expectations are high and sometimes they meet and sometimes they dont.

Overall the program was fantastic, Thumbs up to Fastians. These type of events

are really encourage and motivate students to share their ideas and projects plus

it also acts as interaction point of students with Industry.
