City and museums

We propose for the traditional evening dinner of IRC a boat trip in the center of Berlin . There are ships available for up to 350 persons.Such a boat trip provides a very interesting and unique sight-seeing tour through Berlin.

Berlin is an international city with a friendly and open atmosphere, day and night. There are many interesting historical sites. The summer is the most pleasant season in Berlin, with sunny days and mild nights. Berlin is famous for its many outstanding museums. On Thursday night most of them are open until 22:00.Potsdam, the former residence of the Prussian king Frederic II, is also very close to the conference site.

We need input from the IRC here. How was this for the past IRS events?

What should be included in the first circular?

When and how shall it be distributed?

Same questions for the second circular.

Any recommendation from IRC? LOC would suggest AIP Proceedings.
