Established in 2004 in Brasilia.
Global centre for applied research and training on development policy and for the promotion of South-South Cooperation.
Partnership between UNDP and the Brazilian Government.
Within UNDP: Linked to the Poverty Practice of the Bureau for Development Policy.
Within the Brazilian Government: Linked to the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), the Secretariat for Strategic Affairs at the Presidency of the Republic.
