House Parker was a residential revamp in Noordhoek, Cape Town. The clients primary focus was his love for deep, rich and authentic materials from black and solid oak joinery to nero marquina countertops and custom tan leather furniture.

The kitchen, open plan dining room and walk-way fireplace were the main areas that needed to be redesigned. With the juxtaposition of integrated appliances and clean lines in the kitchen to the bulky furniture in the dining room, emphasis was put on design in marrying the two spaces.

Seattle Coffee Company is one of South Africa’s powerhouse coffee

companies and we are fortunate enough to have them as our client.

From floorplan layouts to custom furniture and details, we strive to uniquely design each store to its

surrounding environment, with authentic materials and ideas specific

to the customers experience within the store.

These stores are designed in partnership with Seattle Coffee Company to bring some of Cape Town’s most recognized artisanal brands together.

Each retailers space is uniquely designed to reflect their brand, while still cohesively tying in with the scheme and design of the overall space.

Black and white checkered tiles and tan leathers are used to individualize each area in the store to help create a flow between the retailers.

Solid oak and raw steel were used to fabricate the bars and furniture while the plants were used to soften the industrial feel of the exposed soffit and surrounding high rise windows.
