Fibertech Makes It RightWhen the project calls for exact invention or precise restoration

of detailed architectural components, look to Fibertech. The

components’ durable gelcoat may be textured and pigmented to

simulate virtually any material or molding effect—wood, cast stone,

painted metal, or any other conventional building material. Fibertech

molding methods allow even the most complex or unusual shapes to

be produced precisely and economically.

understanding of their specifi c project’s design, technical

requirements, and construction schedule. A comprehensive materials

solution is proposed, then designed to meet the project’s unique

challenges. The result is superior architectural products custom-

crafted to each project’s specifi cations.

Fibertech Makes It LastFiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) by Fibertech produces an

enduring building material with an impressive strength-per-dollar

price. FRP products do not rot or rust, absorb water, or become

damaged by infestation. Unlike painted materials, the surface layer

of Fibertech’s polyester gelcoat will not fl ake or peel. As well, UV

stabilizers prevent fading and deterioration, and fl ame and smoke

retardants and other additives can be requested.

Fibertech Makes It SimpleBecause Fibertech components are lightweight (approximately

2 lbs./sq. ft.), they require less structural support than heavy

conventional materials. They are easier to handle and install, and

thus eliminate the need for heavy-duty crane installation and reduce

many other infrastructure and equipment costs. To ensure ease of installation and outstanding performance, all Fibertech projects are supported by detailed shop drawings, CAD fi les, installation details and instructions, and proven technical support.

accurately and cost-effectively.

Fibertech Makes It SingThe facility serves both as a venue for

instruction and performance—a most elegant

gathering place for both artist and audience.

A structure that with the warm frankness of

its presence, makes tangible the ethereal

yearnings of the musician’s soul.

The “beacon” urging its audience to join a

musical community within, the building’s

distinctive cylindrical vestibule was critical

to the project’s overall success. This called

for sharp edges in some places, sweeping

curves in others. The post, beam and trim

was fi nished with a metallic surface and these

components also needed to be lightweight.

The top portions of the entryway columns

were to be under cover, the lower parts

exposed to weather.

As the architects and engineers considered

solving this myriad of demands, one thing

became very clear—Fibertech’s fi berglass

reinforced polyester would provide the answer.
