On rare occasions it may be necessary to close our schools due to weather or other emergency situations. If this occurs, the district will make every effort to ensure that our students' educational opportunities continue while at home. The district also provides mobile devices for students to check out for home use to ensure that students can continue their learning without interruption.

Many of our programs' curriculum frameworks require many performance skills. Some programs'

complete performance tasks in the shop with their instructor following district guidelines. The instructor will

set up a rotating schedule where all students are given qualitytime to complete tasks.

For our licensure programs, we are awaiting instructions from each governing board. For example, clinical

hours in our practical nursing programs could be accomplished through simulation, approval for distance

learning, and relaxingthe mandatory 1200-hour attendance requirementfor cosmetology.
