A) By Manual Lot Preparation:

1) First change the material (mm02) for “Inspection Type 89”

Insp. setup




Save the changes in “Material change”

2) Create the Inspection Plan to “Usage 3 –Universal” of 11

1. Click on Inspection type

2. Enter 89

3. Click on Active

4. Click on Tick button

& enter the Insp.

Characteristics for usage 3

and save the plan.




3) Create Inspection lot manually

Put inspection lot origin as 89.




4) Clear the “manual inspection lot” through QA32 transaction as a regular process.

1. Put Inspection lot qty.

2. Save the Inspection Lot

Select the manual

inspection lot and

complete the

transaction as a

regular process.




This manual lot creation procedure can be adopted for Layout Inspection, Product Audit

or any specific inspection of the component for ex. investigation.

B) Production Order - Inspection Lot:

1)By transaction COOIS see the details of Production Information System

2) Clear the “Inspection lot” through qa32 transaction as a regular process.

3) Give reference of Manual inspection lot number and production order number:

Enter Transaction Code:QPR6.Select the Inspection Lot & Execute.
