Universal TransmittersMake nearly any NO/NC sensor wireless! These versatile transmitters arebased on Inovonics Wireless EchoStreamTM technology, giving them superiorrange and reliability, making them perfect for commercial or domesticinstallations. In addition to conventional door contacts, consider usingInovonics Wireless universal transmitters with shock sensors, holdupbuttons, pressure mats, temperature sensors, status relays, other sensorsand devices.These universal transmitters are fully supervised and includea battery that provides up to five years of operation. The ES1210, andES1210W include a mounting bracket for quick and easy installation.

The ES1215 and ES1215W transmitters were designed for installationsthat require more security. Both include a screw closure housing, a casetamper, and a wall tamper. Choose from one-input, or one-input withinternal reed switch and magnet for door or window security. As is thecase with all Inovonics Wireless transmitters, the universals are fullysupervised.

Smoke DetectorFeaturing CleanMeTM

The ES1242, Inovonics Wireless’ residential-grade smoke detector, featuresthe state-of-the-art EchoStreamTM radio and the recognized advantages ofthe industry-leading GE Interlogix CleanMeTM technology to provide anoutstanding wireless smoke detector. GE Interlogix CleanMe self diagnosticsmonitors its own sensitivity and operational status. If the detector drifts outof desired sensitivity range or fails internal diagnostics, it extinguishes its LEDand sends a “CleanMe” fault to the Inovonics Wireless receiver.

The ES1242 includes two 3V lithium batteries providing up to five yearsof operation. Featuring a low profile design, the ES1242 blends in withany environment.

EN5000 RepeaterThis sophisticated line-powered 900 MHz repeater receives, decodes, andre-transmits signals from Inovonics Wireless EchoStream series transmitters.The EN5000 acts as a “range expander” for any Inovonics WirelessEchoStream transmission that it “hears”, allowing the Inovonics Wirelessinstallation to scale from smaller commercial sites to large campuseswith several buildings. It includes an on-board, state-of-the-art, lithium-ionbattery. What to Look for

Before you decide what system you plan to purchase,review this brief list of tips. Knowing the answers to thesequestions can save you time, money, and needlessaggravation.

What is supervision and why is it important?Supervision, or self-testing, refers to a security system’sself-diagnostics. To ensure reliable, trouble-free operation,wireless transmitters regularly send a “check-in” signal tothe receiver to verify that the communications path is openand the sensor is functioning. Some wireless systemsperform this self-test once every 24 hours, while others donot verify the communication links at all. Inovonicstransmitters send check-in signals as often as every 10seconds, allowing you to detect a missing ormalfunctioning transmitter in less than one hour.

What is the difference between 900 MHz and 300MHz systems?All wireless systems are not created equal. Most wirelesssystems still operate on outdated 300 MHz technology– the same platform that likely operates your garage dooropener. Inovonics products are based on advanced 900MHz spread spectrum technology. Since FCC regulationsallow higher transmit power for 900 MHz systems,Inovonics wireless solutions offer superior in-building rangeand up to 10 times the open fi eld range of other wirelessproducts. Our 900 MHz systems can even protect multiplebuildings, parking structures, or detached garages from asingle location.

What is the benefi t to spread spectrum systems?Multiple frequency technology sends redundantinformation on a multitude of different channels tomaximize range and reliability. Older, less-advanced, singlefrequency systems send information on one narrow-bandchannel, which can result in missed signals if there is anyin-band interference. Additionally, higher frequencytransmission signals fi t through narrower openings incommercial, industrial, and domestic installations.

Will wireless work in a commercial environment?In many commercial environments, ambient radio frequency(RF) signals or signals from other wireless devices caninterfere with the effective operation of wireless securitysystems. Inovonics wireless security systems are based onproven spread spectrum technology. By sending redundantsignals on a multitude of channels across up to a 26 MHzbandwidth, Inovonics products maximize reliability andrange – even in noisy environments – and greatly reducethe likelihood of missed signals from in-band interference.

Are wireless systems more diffi cult to operate?Even though wireless security products are based on asophisticated radio communications protocol, you do notneed a degree in electrical engineering to operate anInovonics wireless security system. There are noannoying or confusing codes or technical jargon to decipher.You don’t have to read through reams of documentationto change system settings. When a sensor is tripped, youare notifi ed on an easy-to-read display that identifi es thelocation and problem. You can even use a remote controlto arm or disarm your system.
