The importance of innovative solutions and technologies is exemplified by the Smart Energy area. Important topics covered have been the effective networking and control of power generators, storage systems and consumers, as well as smart meters, particularly in the light of the smart meter rollout.
The highly successful concept of joint stands at E-world is therefore Germany’s most important industry get-together for intelligent and efficient energy solutions. In addition to companies from the energy sector, industry and the IT sector, political associations and players present themselves here. High-quality lectures and panel discussions in the expert forums complete the line-up in Germany’s largest Smart Energy area.
The politically-oriented Energy Transition Forum discusses legal boundary conditions and new business models associated with the energy transition. The Smart Tech Forum focuses on technical questions, such as smart networks and the growing importance of virtual power plants, IT security and Big Data.
In 2017 the number of international exhibitors should rise again, and the topics of storage and smart energy management will be further expanded in the Smart Energy area.
