COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD - SPONSORED BY THE VICTORIAN STATE GOVERNMENT

SUPPORTING SPONSORS

MAJOR SPONSORS Welcome to the 2019 CCAA Innovation Awards.

At CCAA we believe that the sharing of new ideas and approaches to the common challenges that we face will create a better industry, one that is safer, more sustainable and more in tune with the society that we serve.

So at events like this across the Nation, we take the opportunity to celebrate the innovative thinking that is building a better industry through improving the management of our commitments to Health and Safety, the Environment and Community Engagement. And as our industry moves to realise the social and economic benefits that diverse and inclusive workplaces offer, we have introduced a new award category that recognises innovative approaches to strengthening Diversity & Inclusion in our industry.

I hope that while you are enjoying this evening’s celebrations you take the time to reflect on how the innovative thinking behind this year’s entries and winners can help improve your business in the future.

As in the past, the winners of the State Innovation Awards will be judged at the industry’s premier biennial event CMIC20 held later next year.

On behalf of CCAA, I congratulate all of tonight’s Award winners and entrants and thank you for sharing with all of us, your contribution to creating a better industry.
