The Bachelor of Business will give you a broad understanding of Australian and global business environments. You will gain practical skills and attributes that are highly valued by employers in a range of disciplines. The program provides you with the flexibility to choose areas of study best suited to your interests.

Majors in the Bachelor of Business include:

• human resource management,

• leadership and management,

• marketing,

• innovation and entrepreneurship,

• international business,

• tourism, and

• governance, policy and political economy.

Commerce

The Bachelor of Commerce will help you fast- track your career in accounting, economics or finance. Providing a broad understanding of the business environment, this degree will give you the academic knowledge, as well as the practical, hands-on experience needed to pursue a successful career in your chosen profession.

Majors in the Bachelor of Commerce include:

• accounting,

• finance, and

• economics.

Engineering (mechanical)

Mechanical engineers work to improve the design, safety and energy efficiency of wind turbines, ships, aircraft, trains, cars, mining equipment, lifts, air conditioners and much more. The profession is also playing an important role in environmental sustainability with mechanical engineers developing technology to support the shift from a carbon economy to a renewable energy system.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mechanical) will give you the skills required to analyse and design solutions for a range of mechanical engineering problems. Major studies include advanced materials and manufacturing, bulk solids handling, design, engineering management and renewable energy.

The Bachelor of Innovation must be combined with either the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).

What you will study Areas of study include introduction to entrepreneurship and innovation, entrepreneurial and innovation diversity, innovation and technical management, entrepreneurial strategy, creativity for changing times, leadership and ethics and advanced innovation management.
