AudienceMainstream web user that doesn’t
necessarily use all of the product
google has to offer. The products
that they are using they are not
using to their full potential. This
needs to be addressed.
Not really elderly people (maybe
some, 1 or 2)
Has to be child friendly
Used often within businesses.
Has to be clearly translated to any
culture.
The audience will come into contact
with this packaging online rather than
actually in person. This needs to be
considered throughout our design
process. Everything that we do needs
to be able to be translated into a digi-
tal or online state.
We will take photo’s of our packaging
and post them on the internet.
We plan to make print based packag-
ing models adhering to all of the
guidelines set out within the google
brief. We want to explore various
print finishes to effectively achieve
googles tone of voice.

Initial Ideas
Information regarding all of the google
products and their main features will
be listed on the outer pakaging. The
products will comply with googles
simple, clean-cut tone of voice
Considerations for an instruction
manual and further information inside
packaging itself. High Density Foam will
be used to add authenticity and stabil-
ity to the boxes.
Telstra Phone Cards will refer the scan-
ner directly to the appropriate website.
For certain websites such as Gmail we
will make the scan take them straight
to setting up an account. Similar fea-
tures will be added for appropriate
products.
