KC - Miss Clark Welcome to another exciting week in KC!

This week in English we will be basing our

writing and discussions around the book ‘I

need a hug’ by Aaron Blabey. The focus in

our writing this week is to say our words

slowly to help us spell them correctly.

During Maths we will be working on

multiplication and division as well as

learning about patterns and algebra. As

the cold weather has arrived please ensure

your child’s name is clearly marked on

their jumper. Have a great week!

KG - Miss Griffiths Wow, week 7 already! This week in

English we will be focusing on reading and writing blends. It is wonderful to see all the students are going well with their Jolly Phonics sounds and actions. In Maths students will focus on counting whole numbers and 3D

Early Stage 1 AP – Miss Griffiths Welcome to Week 7! Last week the Kindergarten students really enjoyed their visit from the Bourke Community Health Nurses who spoke about ‘Mr Germ.’ The students enjoyed learning about the importance of washing their hands thoroughly to prevent the spreading of germs. It has been mentioned by many staff about what an excellent job the students in Kindergarten have been doing with their Reading and Writing. Keep up the good work Kindergarten!

Miss Mowbray Welcome to Week 7! This week 1M English continues our imaginative writing about Harold and the Purple Crayon. We have been learning all about narratives and how to increase our story writing with longer complex sentences. 1M English class have also created a wonderful nouns diplay, based on Dr Seuss books, to help us with our writing – please come in a check it out!!! In Maths we will be focusing on Money and telling the time on analog clocks. Don’t forget it is Infants Assembly this Thursday, please come along and help us celebrate our students achievements. Have a great week!

Miss Budd

Wow isn’t the term flying. Week 7 already. This week in English we will be publishing our diary about our pets. We have done some wonderful writing and I am proud of all the students. Dream, believe, learn and achieve!

Stage 1 AP – Miss Budd Next week students will receive a note if they have qualified (less then 3 days away at school, including partials) to attend the Stage 1 attendance party.
