INDUSTRIAL VISIT REPORT
An Industrial Visit to “ Bhopal Sahakari Dugdh Sangh, Bhopal (Sanchi)” was organized by the TIT-MBA, Bhopal for us on February 4, 2015, Wednesday .
First of all I would like to thanks our Director Dr. R.K. Ghai , who gave us the golden chance to visit “Sanchi Dairy” and our faculty Dr. Neerja Nigam , Dr. Alka Awasthi & Dr. Ankur Saxena who guided us during the Industral Visit.
About B.S.D.S:-
Sanchi is the apex organization at the top of 3 tier structure of dairy co-operatives in
Madhya Pradesh. It formulates policies, monitors and assists the Milk union in implementation of dairy development activities in key functional areas including – Marketing, Field Operation, Quality Control, Monitoring & Planning, Administration, Finance and Purchase.
We were taken to the manufacturing plant where various milk products are manufactured like different types of liquid Milk, Ghee, white butter, Shrikhand , Peda, Paneer and Curd.
Mrs Reena Singh , HR manager briefed us about the entire plant operation and process from receipt of milk at dairy dock to dispatching of milk & milk products for distribution . It was an exciting educational experience for all of us as we gained practical learning from the visit.

Plant Operation:-
The plant operation activities begins with receipt of milk at the chilling centre/ dairy dock and end with dispatch of milk & milk products for distribution. In between collection of milk and distribution in market these following process takes place in the plant. These process are as follows :-
1. Testing of milk2. Pasteurization3. standardization4. Chilling 5. Packing6. storage
