KONSTRUKSI INDONESIA 2017 EVENT HIGHLIGHTSThe 2017 edition of Konstruksi Indonesia was o�cially inaugurated by HE Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS), Danis Sumadilaga, Acting Director General of Construction, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), and Rosan Roeslani, Chairman of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN), at a VIP Opening Ceremony which hosted more than 500 dignitaries, government o�cials, and key industry players.
All three dignitaries confirmed during their keynote addresses the government's continued commitment to investing in and delivering priority national infrastructure projects to both improve connectivity across the archipelago as well as contributing to its annual targets for increasing overall GDP.
As soon as the opening ceremony was concluded, it was straight down to business as KI 2017 welcomed more than 10,000 participants over 3 full days of exhibition, technical workshop programmes, and pre-arranged business meetings.
We hope that Konstruksi Indonesia 2017 can be an inspiration and motivation for all stakeholders in construction sector in order to build excellence and independence of Indonesian construction Indonesia industry to become a more prosperous country.

GLOBAL MEETINGS PROGRAMME KEY STATISTICS
The Global Meetings Programme (GMP) is a highly-e�ective business matchmaking programme that enables KI exhibitors and pre-registered visitors to pre-arrange business meeting prior to the event. The GMP provides an online tool with secure access to exhibitor and visitor business profiles, enabling users to identify prospective clients or suppliers by searching for relevant business types, suppliers of particular products/services, or buyers in need of particular products/services.
The GMP allows users to contact exhibitors or visitors in order to discuss their business needs and pre-arrange meetings to take place at the exhibition in a dedicated business meeting lounge – equipped with free Wi-Fi, refreshments, and concierge. The GMP Business Meeting Lounge allows participants to hold meetings away from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition stands and get down to serious business.
In 2017, more than 2,400 exhibitors and visitors used the GMP online matchmaking tool to arrange meetings prior to the exhibition.
