Meet the Team!

I am Shae Foote, VP of Wet Set Productions and Co-Founder of the 1st Annual Indie Grind Awards and Entertainment Summit.

Wet Set Productions is a full service advertising company that offers PR, marketing, brand development, booking and journalism to independent artist and companies in the southeast region.

Terrence Moore is CEO of Elite Boxx and Co-Founder of 1st Annual Indie Grind Awards and Entertainment Summit.

Elite Boxx is a full visual marketing company specializing in brand development using logos, websites, magazines and flyers.

Indie Grind Awards will bring awareness to the fundamentals of the entertainment industry while at the same time showcasing talents abroad. This will be one of the most vital and respected awards in the region. Sponsors will have the opportunity to promote your brand to a directly targeted market.

Indie Grind Awards will be in NC’s capital, Raleigh the weekend of August 24-25 2012. It will feature a Freestyle & DJ Battle, Q&A Panel, Talent Showcase and Award Show.

Companies that sponsor this event will receive national exposure providing a unique platform for business development, publicity, and networking. Sponsors will be able to position their company as a leading supporter of this high quality event and gain maximum brand awareness from their investment. In addition, sponsors will have the opportunity to demonstrate their products or services to a targeted demographic group and generate valuable leads.

The 2012 Indie Grind Award’s goal is to promote the fundamentals of the entertainment industry to independent artist, dancers, singers and models in the southeast region. With the correct knowledge, accessibility and acknowledgement, individuals can take their talent to the next level.

DATE: Saturday, August 24, 2012 – Sunday, August 25, 2012 HOURS: 7:00am-5:00pm LOCATION:

What is the Indie Grind Awards? An event where professionals in entertainment companies, artist, models and dance teams demonstrate their expert skills during qualifying, fun, challenging and team-building competitions that promote positives of hip-hop culture and skill.

EVENT ATTENDANCE: EXPECTED 200-400 OVER ONE DAY

WHO WILL ATTEND: Registered hip-hop artist, singers, dancers, and models; Record label

execs and staff employees from local entertainment companies who are invested in the Industry within the Southeast Region; vendors and corporate professionals interested in supporting the positive relations of the hip-hop culture; the public is invited to attend.

REGISTRATION: $50/Individual and $125/Company/Team

Registration Limited, First-come, first served.

DEADLINE: July 18th, 2012.

EVENT ADMISSION: $20/PERSON

AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded to the individual, top winning artist/company/teams in

categories like “Best New Hip-Hop Artist” “Hip-Hop Artist of the Year” “Best New R&B Artist” “R&B Artist of the Year”, “Model of the Year”, “Dance Team of the Year” and more! A showcase will be help prior to the award show to display the talent of the contestants and the variety in the culture.

HOW TO WIN: Contestants will be nominated by fans on the indie grind awards website

(indiegrindawards.com) after the nomination period, the top contestants in each category with the most votes will appear on a voting poll. Voting will last until the week before the awards. A team of impartial judges and scorekeepers will tally up the votes and pick the winner in each category. The winner will be announced only at the award ceremony.

FUNDING: Corporate sponsorships and vendor/exhibitor rentals, and company

participant/team registration fees.

We plan on implementing a radio advertisement on major radio stations in NC, SC and NY. These stations would include, KISS 102(New Bern, NC), 97. WQOK(Raleigh, NC), HOT 97(NY) Power 105(NY). Hot 97 and Power 105 are the two top urban music stations in the country. We will also advertise on Build Ya Brand Radio. Sponsors will be included in the radio ad.

Along with radio advertisement we will have placement in popular Carolina blogs and publications such as Niche Magazine, Hip Hop People Magazine, SheBloggin & Eargasm Entertainment

Email

Email blast would be sent out to over 10,000 email recipients in our database. Weekly updates on the Indie Grind Awards and our sponsors will be sent out to our subscribers. Updates would also be blasted on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Banner ads will be displayed with sponsor’s logo.

Press Releases

Press releases would be distributed to media outlets PRWeb.com and Hip Hop Press.
