• India will continue to depend on imported LNG to meet its gas demand• Energy Security demands we have a stable long term and economic sources of supply
Natural Gas Demand & Supply Projections of India
US as a Competitive Source of LNG Supply in the World
• India is emerging as a key destination of US LNG Exports. However, export projectshave gone through a rigorous process of DOE approval.
• While US has many market options a long term partnership would imply stable longterm and economic supplies
• The long term gas price outlook of US makes it an attractive source for sourcing LNG

Wind & Solar Energy
• Collaboration with US agencies for technology transfer/partnerships for enhancingproductivity of Wind and Solar Power projects.
• Making available concessional credit for sustainable development and green energyprojects in India.
• To enhance an environment of cooperation and innovation, R&D institutions should bepromoted (SERIIUS)
• US India Civil Nuclear Agreement
• Partnerships for Technology Transfer and Cutting Edge Research
Nuclear Energy
• Adoption of Ultra Super Critical Technology
• Partnership in development of Grid Management
• Sharing more efficient and environmentally acceptable mining techniques
• Technology and best practices in development of Energy Market
