To mark the 151st birthday of The Father of

the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, some activities were conducted grade wise. Students created posters, slogans, and drawings of the great leader. They created poems and wrote the ideologies of Gandhiji.

They prepared charts and designed infographic on timeline of movements initiated by Mahatma

Gandhi and highlighted the detailed relevance of Gandhi 's philosophy in

today's time. The activities aided the students to learn to

appreciate Gandhi’s values on peace, non-violence, and

his effort in Indian Freedom Struggle.

CHEMISTRY AND BAKING

Experiential learning also known as is the process of learning through experience, and is more specifically defined as "learningthrough reflection on doing". Everyone enjoys eating a slice of cake, but few of us realise the science behind this delicious

desert. The students of Grade XII A & B, under the guidance of Mrs R. Lakhanpal, conducted experiments to understand the impact of using different ingredients in different quantities. Each student baked two cakes, and inferred that with a slight change

in the temperature, catalyst or reactant, the product changes. The activity was educative, fun and scrumptious !!
