EFICOR has conducted an initial need assessment with the help of its staff, local partners and contacts and

IAG ( Inter Agency Groups) reports across the country and decided to provide relief supports (food and non-

food items). EFICOR will conduct the relief operation among the worst affected districts of Rajasthan, Odisha

and West Bengal targeting 6000 most vulnerable families. The target beneficiaries will be provided with food

(dry ration) and non-food items on the basis of the need assessment report of EFICOR staff with local volun-

teers represented by the affected communities. The target area and relief packages may change as per the

need and coverage by various humanitarian agencies to avoid duplication. It has been observed that trans-

portation of relief materials to the village is difficult as the main road has been cut off and the villages are

marooned in water. This means that the relief materials will be brought to a focal point in coordination with

local partner where beneficiaries could collect the same producing their card.
