"It is best if these topics could become international training courses for health professionals from all over the world, and HI [health informatics] master students could choose them as elective courses. It will be even better to work on the assignments in more inter-professional groups"

”The public health module –really inspiring. It has broaden my view on global issues.”

The future challenges in healthcare are beyond borders. We need to think global but act local…but how?

Eating disorders in young men are underdiagnosed and undertreated.

EVERY CELL IS SEXED AND EVERY PERSON IS GENDERED!

Why does the gender dimension matter?

From nice to know to MUST implement!

Tokyo Metropolitan- building of the current exchange program with Tokyo Metropolitan University.

Lessons Learned: a) A possibility to provide opportunities for

students to enhance their professional identity and to increase their understanding of the various roles in relation to a global context. To bring students and staff together from different parts of Europe facilitated international exchange. Enabled the students’ possibility to identify and describe an inter-disciplinary and cross-national perspectives of health/ rehabilitation.

b) Integrating an international, intercultural, or global dimensions into the delivery of education (Internationalization) requires more than the mobility of students/teachers, language proficiency, or increased knowledge about globalization; it requires the meeting of pedagogic traditions and discourses.

……..it was very educational - I really learned a lot of things here . You really develop yourself in this one week you might become more mature. I learned from other people not only teachers sounds a little bit but I really learned. …….I hate presenting because my face gets red but I see the others they just do so then I can think it’s not big deal and give a presentation because everyone here is talking English and it’s not their native language and everyone is trying their best.
