Nestlé’s Peter Brabeck-Letmathe

The current Chairman and former CEO of Nestlé, the largest producer of food products in the

world, believes that the answer to global water issues is privatization. This statement is on record from the company that has peddled junk food in the Amazon, has invested money to thwart the

labelling of GMO-filled products, has a disturbing health and ethics record for its infant formula, and

has deployed a cyber army to monitor Internet criticism and shape discussions in social media.

This is apparently the company we should trust to manage our water, despite the record of large

bottling companies like Nestlé having a track record of creating shortages:

In the small Pakistani community of Bhati Dilwan, a former village councillor says children are being sickened by filthy water. Who’s to blame? He says it’s bottled water-maker Nestlé, which dug a deep well that is depriving locals of potable water. “The

water is not only very dirty, but the water level sank from 100 to 300 to 400 feet,” Dilwan says.

Why? Because if the community had fresh water piped in, it would deprive Nestlé of its lucrative

market in water bottled under the Pure Life brand.

Nestlé Waters Canada has negotiated the purchase of a Wellington County spring water business.

The deal to obtain Middlebrook Water Co., is conditional upon Middlebrook’s existing production permit being renewed later this year by Ontario Ministry of Environment. Nestlé proposes to drain 1,300 Litres per minute even though this is a “back up water source” for their factory in Aberfoyle, Ontario where 90% of the 180,000 bottles created daily end up in the United States and eventually the Oceans & Landfills all across the world. Our community is not a back up factory and with Nestlé’s track record, there is no reason why they would stop at 1,300 Litres per day, especially as the water crisis amplifies.

It is up to us as a worldwide community to protect our sacred waters and to keep our wildlife and natural resources free from exploitation. Our water does not belong in plastic to be shipped around the world to profit a private company that seeks to control all water.

Nestle is in Partnership with Coca ColaThrough Beverage Partners Worldwide (BPW)

Coca Cola still contains TRACES OF COCAINE!!!

Because cocaine is naturally present in coca leaves, today’s Coca-Cola uses “spent”, or treated, coca leaves, those that have been through a cocaine

extraction process, to flavour the beverage.

This process cannot extract all of the cocaine alkaloids at a molecular level,

and so the drink still contains trace amounts of the stimulant. The Coca-Cola Company currently refuses to

comment on the continued presence of coca leaf in Coca-Cola.

Coca Cola is poisoning our childrenWould you give your children Cocaine?

All Nestle & Coca Cola products must be banned in all establishments NOW!

According to NASA’s new report, California only has enough water to get it through the next year. People are under

strict water-saving measures; farmers are struggling to keep their crops alive.

Yet, Nestlé is bottling water from at least ten natural springs throughout California,

including from some of the most drought-stricken areas of the state, and selling it for profit. In places like Sacramento, it’s paying

less than $0.14 per gallon. This is insane.

Letter You can Send to Members of Government

“I was appalled to learn that the Elora natural waters are being threatened by Nestlé water bottling proposal for Middlebrook spring. I urge you to intervene, since it is clear that the ministry of environment has no intention of protecting Ontario’s public water from Nestlé.

You know better than most how scarce fresh safe public water can be, especially after announcing droughts in five Oregon counties, on top of California’s extreme drought. Please do not allow a provincial agency to set a dangerous precedent of exchanging public water so Nestlé can open up shop in this province.

Nestlé has a terrible track record abusing public water resources across America. Most recently, despite massive public outcry, it continues to bottle massive amounts of water in Sacramento as California goes through the biggest water crisis in its history.

Please demonstrate long overdue and much needed leadership on this issue and tell the ministry of Ontario’s environment to pull out of Nestlé’s dangerous water bottling scheme.”
