About the University: Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam was established for women in the year 1983 by Sri N. T. Rama Rao, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh with a major objective of Emancipation and Empowerment of Women through education. Its focus has been mainly on developing self-confidence and to create interaction with the society and to broaden the areas of employment for women. It also aids in acquisition of evaluation skills of leadership and entrepreneurship in all aspects of life. The university is located at a distance of 3km from the Railway and Bus stations of Tirupati.

About School of Engineering and Technology (SoET): SoET was established in the academic year 2006-07. It offers B.Tech and M.Tech Degree Programmes in CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical branches. About VIRINCHI: The objective of the fest is to encourage the students to improve their technical, communicative and organizational skills and thereby to enhance their thrust towards technical, intellectual and spatial relations. It also provides an environment to portrait the capabilities of engineering students from various institutions.
