The Expanding Knowledge Base
• A vast array of reproductive health technologies
• A considerable body of knowledge about evidence- based practices
• A better understanding of people’s health-related behaviour
• An increasing awareness of the technical, social and economic determinants of quality and access
• An extensive collection of practical experience within countries that could be the basis for making programs work.
Research and programmatic initiatives over the past decades have led to:

The IBP partners support many strategies to close the knowledge to practice gap
WHO/RHR with support from the IBP partners is creating andAdapting low resolution technology to create virtual knowledge toPractice pathways to:
• Innovate ways to improve access to and the use of research and resource materials
• Promote and support the sharing and exchange of knowledge and experience with individuals who are and who are not connected to the internet
• The documentation of knowledge and experience
• Promote continuous learning
