The immune system’s structure and functions.
• A system that protects the body from forign substances and diseases.
White blood cell
They fight other cells that aren't supposed to be in the immune system.
Lymphoid
It effects your growth and helps release a certain type of a white blood cell.
Thymus gland
• Produces white blood cells to fight off foreign organisms.
Macrophages {mac-ro-fage}
• It is a type of blood cell that roams through the body looking for foreign elements.
Bone marrow
• It produces white blood cells for the immune system.
Lymph nodes
• they are small training centers for the immune cells.
granulocypes
• They carry destructive enzymes in there granules, which enables them to take quick action against the invading threats, like infections, tumors and many different threats.
